Centrul HOSPICE Bucuresti - exterior

The palliative care hospital HOSPICE Casa Speranţei in Bucharest was inaugurated in the fall of 2014, after 8 years since the establishment of the organization in the Romanian capital city. Until then, HOSPICE offered home care services to patients hospitalized in partner hospitals.

Set in a peaceful area, on the bank of Plumbuita Lake, the hospital is made of in-patient units meant to offer hospitalization for a limited period (two weeks) of children and adults suffering from an incurable illness, day centres, kitchen, administration area, medical cabinets, assisted baths, as well as classrooms for the educational activities of the foundation. In the spring of 2016, HOSPICE inaugurated the paediatric wing. This offers complete palliative care services that serve children suffering from incurable illness and life-limiting conditions.
