HOSPICE Casa Sperantei
promotes palliative care services and care on a national level and is a known leader in this domain on a european level. It is also the largest medical non-profit organization in Romania activating in palliative care and offering free services to patients and their families.
HOSPICE Casa Speranţei promotes palliative care on a national and international level through education, information and advocacy programs.
Since 1997 the two HOSPICE educational centers in Brasov and Bucharest have been providing: classes, conferences, experience exchanges, medical internships as well as providing consultancy, expertise and support for multidisciplinary paliative care teams locally and abroad. The educational program courses are held in Romanian, English and Russian.
Our educational programme encompasses the latest techniques in palliative care, a series of in-house publications, a palliative care library, a romanian law library and a list of recommended links. Resources are available in Romanian, English and Russian.
Since its founding in 1992, HOSPICE Casa Sperantei has been permanently and actively involved in promoting the concept of palliative care and in building a network for palliative care in both Romania and the surrounding region.
